SAT Testing Information

Dear Parent(s) or Guardian(s):
On April 5, 2017, eleventh grade students will be administered the College Board SAT (with essay). The College Board SAT assesses reading, writing, language and mathematics reasoning focusing on knowledge and skills predictive of college and career readiness and success. Participation in this assessment is a requirement for high school graduation in Illinois. Additional information regarding this assessment is available at Test administration time for each area ranges from 35 to 80 minutes. It is anticipated that results will be available in late May or early June.

Students may elect to send their scores for free to up to four colleges/universities of their choice via their online account at no later than April 14, 2017— and

Students may elect to enter the College Board Student Search Service by calling 866- 825-8051 or emailing The Student Search Service is a free program that helps students get connected with colleges, universities and nonprofit scholarship agencies. When you opt in, you are allowing nearly 1,700 colleges to send you information about their programs, admission criteria and financial aid.
