9 week elective class
Utilize computer modules to explore technological products and systems in Energy & Power, Transportation, Manufacturing, Construction, and Information & Communication Technologies.
Apply the attributes of design to solve open-ended problems.
Learn the proper use of hand and power tools.
Utilize a “plan of procedure” to construct a project.
Explore careers in Energy & Power, Transportation, Manufacturing, Construction, and Information & Communication Technologies.

Manufacturing Technology
18 week elective class
Explore the areas of Manufacturing including, materials, processing, tools, safety, and related careers.
Select and safely use hand and power tools to create 3-4 woodworking/plastic projects.
Develop an understanding of how a CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) lathe and mill operate.
Create a project utilizing both a CNC lathe and mill.
Advanced Technology
18 week elective class
