An exemplary program provides opportunities for students to acquire knowledge and develop skills necessary for lifelong learning. The department’s diverse course offerings encourage personal growth and strengthen interpersonal skills. Students are directed toward forming concepts and developing competencies necessary to make intelligent choices and to apply principles and generalizations to new situations. Through exploration and development of attitudes that promote the values of initiative, leadership, integrity and industry. We envision our students to become better equipped to meet the challenges of the family and community in the 21st century.
