Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide learning opportunities, experiences and an environment that will promote positive attitudes, favorable health behaviors, and a personal responsibility for life long wellness.
Philosophy
The health education program of District 204 must have as its primary goal the development of wellness for each student. According to Meeks and Heit (1998), in order for the student to attain wellness, a program should emphasize the following factors which will influence health status:
