Social Studies
Mission
The mission of Indian Prairie's Social Studies Department is to prepare all students to make decisions as informed active citizens in an ever changing diverse and interdependent world. As social studies teachers, we envision a world where Indian Prairie graduates will:
- Learn about the past to understand the present and make informed decisions about the future.
- Respect diversity while understanding the forces that unite us as a people.
- Strive to better the human condition.
