Hello Spring Brook Parents -
Show your Huskie pride this year! Spirit wear is now available for purchase online from Naperville Spirit Wear. The official “I’m a Huskie HERO” t-shirt is offered at a reduced price, and students are encouraged to wear it on spirit days, field trips, and for Field Day. Additional designs that were showcased at Ice Cream Social are also available. Curriculum Night is Wednesday, September 12th. You will hear an overview of what your child will be learning this year and visit various tables in the LMC.
The Curriculum Night schedule is as follows:
5:45-6:15 Kindergarten-Second Grade
6:20-6:50 Kindergarten-Fifth Grade
6:55-7:25 Third-Fifth Grade
The teacher’s presentations will be in their classroom.
PTA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE GOING ON NOW THRU SEPTEMBER 28th!!
PTA Membership packets went home on Friday and the Spring Brook PTA Membership Drive will continue thru September 28th!! Every year our goal is to have 100% of our families join. Forms are due back by September 28th. Getting your forms in by September 28th will ensure that you get access to the Directory Spot App for our 2018-2019 online directory and ONLY PTA members will get access to this after the 28th. PTA Committee Chair
Are you interested in chairing a PTA committee? There is currently an open position on the PTA board for PDAC Liaison. This committee chair helps the Parents Diversity Advisory Council advocate for educational equity in all District 204 schools. Time commitment is low and includes attending one evening event per month. Please email Kathy Dunn (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information if interested.
