PTA Committee Chair

Are you interested in chairing a PTA committee? There is currently an open position on the PTA board for PDAC Liaison. This committee chair helps the Parents Diversity Advisory Council advocate for educational equity in all District 204 schools. Time commitment is low and includes attending one evening event per month. Please email Kathy Dunn ( for more information if interested.

Do you love art or love to help out in your child's classroom? Art connects our students with the world. The PTA is in need of parents to volunteer to teach Art Awareness lessons to your child's class. We provide everything you need to do the lesson, no experience necessary!

On a quarterly basis, volunteers pair up and teach the students about well-known artists and their works and then facilitate an art project using the style just taught. ALL teaching materials, training, and activities are provided for volunteers. The students always enjoy the lessons and will amaze you with their interpretation of the art presented.

You will self-schedule the lesson with your teacher during the quarter at your own convenience and is a great way to be a part of your child's education and keep art flowing through our school!

Any questions, please email co-chairs: Sina Fong ( or Christine Estacio (

Charleston Wraps Fundraiser - Going on Now!

The PTA Fall Fundraiser is under way! This fundraiser is a catalog fundraiser through the company Charleston Wrap, offering unique wrapping paper, kitchen items and other products for the home. Last year the Charleston Wrap fundraiser raised almost $5,000 for the Spring Brook PTA, which helps pay for things like field trips, ice cream social, teacher requested supplies and art awareness.

To participate, and help our Spring Brook PTA:

-Register your student online at using our School ID: z-11280

-Obtain your student's Charleston Wrap student ID upon registration & share the Charleston Wrap link with others via email through the CW website

- Share the Charleston Wrap link along with your student ID on Facebook

-Text your student's link to family and friends

-Submit prize coupons as your student sells items, so they can get excited about raising money for our school

- Submit orders on 9/24 or sooner, products will be received early November

-Make all checks payable to: Spring Brook PTA

Online ordering is available and will help insure orders are processed as quickly as possible. Please note that when you or your family and friends order online you can either choose to have their products shipped to their house (free shipping on orders over $85) or they can have their products delivered to the school for $4.50. Catalog orders do not pay shipping.

Families with more than one child can either register each child separately using a unique student code for each kid and each child will receive individual prizes according to their individual sales or you can use one student code for the whole family so they combine sales (and therefore prizes) to reach higher prize levels. Please note by combining the prizes you will only receive one prize at each level.

If you have any questions, please email Tiffany Malik ( or Laura Schutte (
