Reported by on 9/25/18

The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation announced the selection of Elisha Johnson as its new Executive Director. Johnson will be responsible for the administration and management of all IPEF activities as well as developing and overseeing a comprehensive fundraising plan to support district programs. Johnson brings to the IPEF years of experience in business development, marketing and sales. She most recently served as the Director of Communications for Caton Commercial Real Estate Group. She has been an active volunteer in Indian Prairie School District as a member of the White Eagle Elementary School PTA, including serving as president for two years. Johnson previously worked with the IPEF in a volunteer role when she managed the auction for the group's Inspire 204 event in 2015. She earned a Bachelor's degree in management and human relations from MidAmerica Nazarene University.

IPEF Board Chair Rana Khan said the group is excited to have Johnson on board. "With her professional background and dedication to our district, she is the right person to guide our organization as we mark our 30th anniversary of enriching education for students in District 204."
