Charleston Wrap Fundraiser - All Orders Due October 1st

Thank you to all parents and staff who have helped support the PTA's Charleston Wrap fall fundraiser. We will be able to use the money raised toward great resources for our school. Today, October 1st is the last day to submit catalog and online orders. Please make sure order forms are complete with student information at the top, and checks should be made payable to Spring Brook PTA. IPEF Run Fundraiser - Get Ready Get Set Go!

We are really excited to help raise money this year for our school by participating in the IPEF 5K and Half Mile Run October 21st! If you would like to help support our fundraising efforts, please see the attached t-shirt order form we have and order on line!

PTA Reflections

Spring Brook PTA would like to send you a reminder that we kicked off "Reflections" program last week.

Forms were sent in Friday folder, if you need another copy please let us know. The theme this year is "Heroes Around Me".

Please talk to your child about participating. No matter what they are interested in, there is category for them. This year is special, 50th anniversary of the program. Our goal is "50 for 50", so let's make it happen.

Save the Date:-Spring Brook’s Annual “Science Fair”

Date: Wednesday October 24, 2018

Time: 5:30-8:00 PM

All Spring Brook students are invited to participate in the Science fair on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

Each student or group of students (Max.3) from grades K - 5th can develop a project with the help of their parents to present at the fair. Details will be e-mailed and registration forms will be coming home soon.

Box Tops for Education Collection

The PTA will be collecting Box Tops for Education again this year to benefit Spring Brook. Last year we raised over $1,300! Collection sheets will be sent home with your student this week (also attached).

What is the Box Tops Program?

The General Mills Box Tops program is a free way to earn money for Spring Brook Elementary. Here’s how it works:

v BUY – Purchase products with the Box Tops logo which can be found on hundreds of items -Participating Products

v CLIP – Clip the Box Top from each package

v SEND – Send the Box Tops to school with your child on a collection sheet or in a Ziploc bag or envelope

v EARN – Each unexpired, valid Box Tops official coupon is worth 10¢ for Spring Brook Elementary

The Box Tops program is an easy way for our community to raise funds for enhancements such as technology and library items. We will be collecting all year, so feel free to send in at your convenience. Be sure to ask other family members to collect them as well!!

v FALL CONTEST: Every completed collection sheet returned to school in September or October with a student name on it will be entered into a prize raffle. Prizes will be awarded to a few students in November. The more sheets submitted, the more chances your child has to win. Be sure your child’s NAME is on the collection sheet, Ziploc bag or envelope.

Thank you to all of the families who have joined the PTA this school year and a reminder that our Membership Drive will continue thru October 5th!! very year our goal is to have 100% of our families join. Forms are due back by October 5th. Getting your forms in by October 5th will ensure that you get access to the Directory Spot App for our 2018-2019 online directory and ONLY PTA members will get access to this after the 5th. Adult Social – Save the Date
Mark your calendars, the 5th Annual Spring Brook Adult Social is set for Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Nevin’s Brewing Company. This year's theme will be Prom! Planning is underway and we need YOUR help to make this event a success. Do you have a business or contact that would be interested in donating an auction item?
