Reported by on 10/1/18

Dear Kendall Families,

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Throughout the month of October, Kendall students and staff will pledge and unite our efforts against unkind and disrespectful acts in our school community. Look for our schoolwide efforts highlighted on Twitter, #FutureReady204. Classroom Google sites will share the learning taking place at grade levels.

Within our school we work together to raise student awareness. We ask for community participation to continue raising that awareness by displaying acts of kindness and respect toward one another outside of school.

The last week in October also celebrates National Red Ribbon Week. The focus is the safety and responsibility of our actions. There is a direct correlation between the two national campaigns.

Schoolwide activities are detailed below:
• Thursday, October 4th- Kick Off –Students wear blue. This is a national effort, so parents you can join in too- wear your blue.
• Thursday, October 11th- Team Unity- Wear your favorite team jersey or colors.
• Tuesday, October 16th -“Hats Off” to the up stander- students invited to wear hats in school today.
• Wednesday, October 24th- Be comfortable with who you are- wear your pjs
