2:00-2:15 Parade will be outdoors. Families view from outside.
2:15-3:00 PTA sponsored fall parties

—Family members are invited to view the parade from outside. (This is optional.) Route will be marked.

—Please help your children to choose school costumes that will not interfere with a positive elementary climate. Reasonable standards of safety, modesty and decency are an expectation.

—Students who choose to wear costumes will bring them to school in bags. Room parents will be available to assist students as they dress for the parade in the afternoon. Please assist our helpers by avoiding complicated costumes.

—The PTA budget was developed to include funding for games and crafts for parties. The PTA works to maintain parity among classroom parties. Please help them in this effort. Do not send additional items for distribution.

—During parties five room parents are invited to be in classrooms. Other visitors, including younger siblings are not appropriate visitors during classroom parties. We do appreciate your cooperation with this.

—The participation of students in the parade and or party is completely voluntary. An alternate activity will be provided in school upon a parent’s election to not have their child participate in the parade and or party. Please contact your child’s teacher if you elect to have your child not participate in either event.

Parade Route:
Beginning with grades 5 & 3 from second floor, exiting front main entrance followed by grades 4, 2, 1 & K on our first floor.

Students will exit front main doors of Kendall School. They will proceed clockwise, remaining on the sidewalk closest to our building. We ask that parade visitors remain on the grass area around the school & behind the cones on the blacktop.

Inclement Weather:
If the weather does not allow for our outdoor parade, an alternate inside parade will take place in the gym. More details to come if necessary.

Thank you for helping to make this year's parade and fall parties a positive, fun experience for everyone.
