Attendance Matters! - School attendance is essential to academic success. As you review your child's first quarter report cards, you may also check your child's attendance in Home Access. (Directions below.) Did you know that absenteeism in the first month of school can predict attendance throughout the school year? Research shows that half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school by the end of the year. ( ​——Remember any lost class time results in missed learning opportunities. Help your children develop positive habits for attendance from an early age! For more information or assistance with improving your child's attendance, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or Mrs. Bennett.

Here’s how to check attendance in Home Access:

1. Click the Attendance icon at the top.

2. Use the << and the ­>> to change months

3. Use the mouse to hover over a specific day to get details of an absence for that day.
