Middle School Chromebooks
Reported by email@example.com on 5/29/19
This year, middle school students will be able to keep their Chromebook over the summer. In August, students will need to exchange their existing Chromebook, case, and charger for their new touch-screen Chromebook. Eighth graders will turn in their existing Chromebook to their high school to receive their replacement device. An important note, Chromebooks will not be repaired or replaced over the summer. If a Chromebook is damaged or stops functioning over the summer, please return the device in its condition in August. Fines will not be assessed for the condition of a returned device since this is the end of the three-year rotation on these devices. This is the only time when fines will not be assessed for damaged Chromebooks. Any devices not returned to the District will be marked as lost and will no longer be operational. The Curriculum and Instruction Department has compiled online learning tools that are available for students to access over the summer through the IPSD website.
