When most people wake up in the morning, they first think of one thing: themselves. Where’s my breakfast? Mom didn’t lay out my clothes. These thoughts can lead to conflict in your family, at school, at work, and in the world. How would the world be different if we thought less about ourselves and more about serving others?

Please join us this Friday, December 13th at 8:00 in the MPR ($5 per person). The theme is service. A light breakfast will be provided and we will have a drawing for some prizes. Any special adult is invited to bring the kids, not just dads. Please enter through Door #1 and check-in at the office with your driver’s license.

The Fry PTA Junior Great Books (JGB) program for 2nd to 5th grade students is beginning in January. JGB is similar to a book club in which students read short stories from a specific book and then meet to discuss what they have read. It encourages students to think critically as they read. The sessions will be held on Wednesdays during the student’s lunch and recess period. The program begins on January 22, 2020, and lasts 9 weeks. If your child would like to participate, please find attachment with letter and form below. Form should be returned to his or her classroom teacher along with the appropriate participation fee by Friday, December 20, 2019.

Please consider shopping on Amazon Smile when making purchases this holiday season and throughout the year! Go to and choose to support Fry PTA. Then each time you login in via a percentage will automatically go back to the school. You can also share with friends and family who shop on Amazon! This is an easy way to help support special events for your kids, run by the PTA ! Thank you!
