Erin's Law Parent Info Night: 1/9/2020 @ Georgetown
Reported by sally_aldaba@ipsd.org on 12/18/19
Dear Parents,
In response to concerns regarding child safety and vulnerability to sexual abuse, the State of Illinois requires schools to provide instruction in personal safety and awareness of safe/unsafe situations. This law is known as Erin's law. In each grade level, the program will discuss abuse prevention at an age-appropriate level for our students.
Our schools are committed to the safety and well-being of our students and that is why we feel that providing this program is so important.
