The February Power of Choice high school newsletter, The Parent Post, is here with important tips for parents on how to talk with their teens about prescription drug misuse and prevention. Learn the 3 prevention ideas about prescription medications that parents and teens should know. Also find out the Spring Operation Snowball Retreat weekend information, the dates and high school contacts. Snowball retreats are teen-led weekends that bring together students from 5 local high schools, where they can be their authentic selves, happily and confidently. -The Power of Choice is a collaborative project led by 360 Youth Services in District 203 and 204 middle and high schools growing the number of students making healthy choices regarding substance use. Power of Choice is funded in whole or in part by the Illinois Department of Health Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery through a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
