Limited Space in Freedom Golf session

STEPS has openings available for the last Freedom Golf workshop beginning on 4/13/20.

Freedom Golf Association is a charitable organization that brings the game of golf to individuals with special needs. They serve individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including physical, intellectual, and developmental, by focusing on accommodations for accessibility. They provide free golf clinics at various community golf courses and at public schools.

Freedom Golf is providing golf workshops to STEPS students on Monday mornings at 8:30-9:30 at the Neuqua Valley Birkett Freshman Center throughout the second semester. Each workshop is 4-5 weeks in length. The first workshop was completed on 2/24/20 and the second workshop will start on 3/2/20. We still have spots available for the third workshop, which begins on 4/13/20.

If your STEPS student is interested in participating in the third (and last) Freedom Golf workshop at STEPS, please contact Jen Broz at jen_broz@ipsd.org or 630-428-6455. STEPS students who participate in the third golf workshop would have an alternate Monday morning schedule on the following dates: 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11.
