Subject: Student Zoom Information for October 2
In efforts to increase the security of online classroom meetings, and in collaboration with Zoom, the District will begin to require your child to log in for all Zoom classroom meetings starting on Friday, October 2. Zoom will now use the District’s Single Sign-On (SSO) for your child to log in as a member of the Indian Prairie School District 204 community. This does not give students the ability to host Zoom meetings but prevents non-IPSD 204 guests from joining Zoom meetings.
Step-by-step instructions are available for joining a Zoom classroom by copying the links provided into your browser:
• For teacher’s that are using StudentVUE to provide Zoom links

We encourage students to log out and shut down their Chromebook each day. Also, we ask that you check that their Zoom account is connected daily (or when prompted by Zoom to login) to ensure easy access to remote learning.
