FRY DOOR DECORATING CONTEST - OPEN TO ALL FRY FAMILIES!
To enter the Fry Door Decorating Contest:
Step 1: Sign up at https://forms.gle/rX4xKGgy9nLPjRRVA Must be completed by Oct 23
Step 2: Send a photo of your completed door to FryYearbook2018@gmail.com
Step 3: Post on Fry Families on Facebook

FOXTOBER - Welcome to Foxtober!!! Beginning Monday, October 19 you will be able to Donate to the PTA to support all of the amazing programs and events the PTA provides to our students. Students will also participate in our virtual Fry Fox Fitness Week, combined with super fun Spirit Days!

IMPORTANT DATES:
Donations Accepted: Monday, October 19 - Friday, October 30
Fitness and Spirit Week: Monday, October 19 - Friday, October 23
Restaurant Fundraiser Day at Mod Pizza: Thursday, October 22 ALL DAY/NIGHT

Be on the lookout for the Foxtober Packet in the October Material pick-up. We will also be sending out information via Fry Families FB page and PTA email announcements.

AMAZON SMILE - Prime Day is October 13-14th!! Please support the Fry PTA every time you shop on Amazon Smile! The app is now available on your phone! Go to the settings, Amazon Smile, and choose to support Fry. Or go to this link at Fry’s Amazon Smile.

REFLECTIONS - “I Matter Because…” is the theme for the 2020-21 Reflections.
Reflections encourages students of all ages to:
· Unleash creative talents and be inspired
· Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
· Experience the fun and joy of making art
· Tap into critical-thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme
· Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.

PARTICIPATION IS ONLINE, EASY, EXCITING AND EMPOWERING
All students are invited to participate and submit original artwork in one of six areas:
· Dance Choreography
· Literature
· Photography
· Film Production
· Music Composition
· Visual Arts

Special Artists division celebrates student artists with special needs.
Rules and forms have been uploaded on the FRY Website.
The last date for the submissions is October 29th.

BOX TOPS - The PTA will be collecting physical box tops with an expiration date of November 1, 2020 or later. Please cut them out around the dotted edges, put them in a plastic bag labeled with your child’s classroom and drop them off in the bin on the porch at 3804 Sunburst Lane. Collection will last until the last week in October.
***Please be aware that most box tops are now No-Clip, so please only send in the yellow physical box tops that do not say no-clip. For the No-Clip Box Tops, download the Box Tops for Education App, then simply scan your store receipts to find participating products. The app will automatically credit the Fry PTA with the Box Top Earnings. Please contact Melissa Allsteadt at 248-895-5196 with any questions.
