Reported by on 10/23/20

The Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholars program offers financial and academic support through high school. It is open to 7th grade applicants that are doing very well in school(A’s and B’s in core subjects), but have some financial need (family income of $95,000 or below).

The scholarship is a selective 5-year, pre-college scholarship that provides comprehensive academic and college advising, as well as financial support for high school, Cooke-sponsored summer programs, internships, and other learning enrichment opportunities. These students also are advised to take the out of grade level test (ACT or SAT) offered through the CTD NUMATS program.

The JKC Young Scholars application is open from January through March 2021 and more information can be found online on the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship website
