Scullen Parent Teacher Conferences

Reported by on 11/6/20

Dear Scullen Families,

Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, November 19th from 4:30 - 8:00 PM and Monday, November 23rd from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Parents can begin scheduling conferences through ParentVUE beginning Tuesday, November 10 at 10:00 AM through Monday, November 16 at 6:00 PM. Due to COVID-19, parent/teacher conferences will take place via Zoom this fall. To schedule your conference, log in to ParentVUE and select “Conference” from the menu on the left side to see the times available. Once you have scheduled your conference, you can click “Email Schedule” to have the details emailed to you. You can also go back to ParentVUE at any time to view the information.

Middle school conferences for core classes take place in a team setting, which means that all of your child’s core teachers will be present during the scheduled conference time. Please note that Synergy will only allow parents to schedule a conference with one core teacher (your child’s science teacher), but rest assured, all core teachers will be present at the conference.

Science teachers and their respective teams include:

Ann Ketcherside - Team 6-0

Clayton Watkins - Team 6-1

Anthony Gladstone - Team 6-2

Victor Low - Team 7-0

Steven Correll - Team 7-1

Lisa Berube - Team 7-2

Daniel Sandine - Team 8-0

Kristin Grapenthien - Team 8-1

Jennifer Cushing - Team 8-2

You will also have the opportunity to schedule individual conferences with your child’s encore teachers. This will provide you with individual times to meet with your child’s band, orchestra, choir, PE, health, technology, FACS, foreign language, or art teachers.

Though we would like to have the opportunity to meet with every parent, due to the schedule there is a limit to the number of conferences that can be held. Please know that communication between home and school can happen at any time. Teachers encourage parents to reach out via phone or email at any time to discuss student performance.

Any questions regarding ParentVue or parent/teacher conferences can be directed to Scullen’s Guidance Secretary Terri King at (630) 428-7010.
