Hello Spring Brook Parents –

Report Cards

Elementary Report Cards for first through fifth graders will be available in ParentVue on Friday, November 13 at 4 PM. Kindergarten progress notes will be shared with you by your child’s teacher. This will give you information about your child’s progress during the first quarter. Please CLICK HERE for directions on how to access your chidl’s report card. We look forward to sharing additional information with you at parent-teacher conferences November 19 and 23.

Parent/Teacher Conference Sign Up

We are pleased to offer 15-minute individualized parent/teacher conferences via Zoom, on Thursday November 19th and Monday, November 23rd. Conferences begin every 20 minutes. You will receive a zoom link for your remote conference.

Conference days and times are as follows:

Thursday, November 19th: 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Monday, November 23rd: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM

We would like every parent to meet with their home room teacher. If your child has a different teacher for math, that teacher will provide information about your child’s math progress since you will only be meeting with your child’s homeroom teacher.

Specialists that work with your child can be invited to the homeroom conference as needed. If you have a need to meet with a P.E., Art, or Music teacher, please email them directly.

You may begin signing up for conferences on Tuesday, November 3rd at noon through ParentVUE

To schedule your conference, log in to ParentVUE at the designated grade level time and select “Conference” from the menu on the left side to see the times available. Once you have scheduled your conference, you can click “Email Schedule” to have the details emailed to you. You can also go back to ParentVUE at any time to view the information. Conference scheduling will remain open through November 16.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created hardships for many of our District 204 families. As we head into the holiday season, some families may be facing challenges for the very first time. The community is invited to join District 204’s Superintendent, Dr. Adrian Talley, as he welcomes leaders from community organizations for the next Parent University at 7 pm on November 18, streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel. Dr. Talley will be joined by Gina Bogin, Social Worker, Waubonsie Valley High School; Mary Boulos, Associate Director of CARES Programs, Loaves & Fishes Community Services; Kim White, Executive Director, Career & Networking Center; and Tariq Khondker, Senior Research Coordinator, DuPage County Community Services. The group will discuss the wide variety of resources available to support families. Parents can submit a question in advance for the panel by using this online form.
