Scullen/Pinot’s Palette Painting Event – November 24

In partnership with downtown Naperville’s Pinot’s Palette, we’ve scheduled a fun afternoon of painting for interested Scullen Sharks on Tuesday, November 24 from 1-3pm since there’s no school that entire week of Thanksgiving (and you’ll need something to do!). This will be a private event for our Scullen families. However, you are welcome to have family members, near or far, join in the fun. You will have the option to paint in the store in downtown Naperville (a limited number of spots available) or virtually, but we’ll all be painting the same picture at the same time. Each participant will be provided a painting kit ($35 for virtual; $39 for in-person) and you can pick up the kits at the downtown Naperville store or opt to pay for shipping to your home. November Photo Contest

It's a new chapter - November picture contest – open to all Scullen students.

The November theme is “I Am Thankful for ..." . Students can be creative and show what they are really thankful for .

For November– you can still post your picture on Scullen Parents Facebook page or you can email it to or

Send a picture of your student that creativity reflects what they are thankful for this year. We have some gift cards for the winners who will be randomly selected.

Please note – only mention your students first name and last initial (for privacy reasons) and grade and team level (6-0,6-1,6-2, 7-0,7-1,7-2,8-0,8-1 or 8-3).

Please send in your entries between Nov 18th and 26th. No entries will be accepted after 7pm on Nov. 26. No exceptions will be allowed.

IPEF Honoring Teachers & Staff: November 9 – December 9

The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation (IPEF) is sponsoring a program for the next month: Honor a Special IPSD 204 Teacher or Staff Member through IPEF’s “Gifts of Gratitude” program. Share your appreciation by making a tax-deductible donation to IPEF on behalf of your honoree Nov. 9th – Dec. 9th. Each Gifts of Gratitude honoree will receive a personalized certificate prior to the holiday break. All donations benefit our Teacher Innovation Grants program.

Many of you have remarked how much your students’ teacher(s) have gone above and beyond during this challenging year. Now is the time to nominate them for a district-wide teacher award: A+ Award
