Get To Know Ms. Kluge

Hello Longwood! This is Ms.Kluge and this is my second year at Longwood teaching first grade. I taught kindergarten at Owen elementary and was lucky enough to move to Longwood! Teaching in District 204 is really special to me because I also grew up in this district. I went to Nancy Young elementary school, then on to Granger and Metea. I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to teach here! I attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and majored in elementary education. I am currently working on my masters degree in reading and literacy through Concordia University in Chicago. My guilty pleasure is the show Friends and Hallmark movies. I also cannot go a day without coffee! My favorite thing in the whole world is to have a hot cup of coffee and a good book. If I am not teaching or studying you will find me reading.
