Hello Graham Families,

Here is some information about what is happening in December:

Dr. Talley at December PTA Meeting

Our next PTA meeting will be Thursday December 10th at 9:30 AM via zoom and Dr. Talley District 204’s Superintendent will be the guest speaker. If you have any questions for Dr. Talley please send them to tracielange@hotmail.com by this Friday December 4th and he will answer them at the meeting. We will have time for him to make a statement and answer questions all at the beginning of the meeting.

All login information for the meeting was shared in the newsletter email.

Lou Malnatti’s Restaurant Night

Our next restaurant night is Tuesday December 8th between 4-10 PM at Lou Malnatti’s on 95th Street. Take a night off from cooking and support Graham at the same time. The flyer is attached at the bottom, you do not need to bring it as long as you mention Graham when ordering. Please note, online orders for pickup or delivery are accepted as long as you use the code FUNDGHES20 before checkout in the promo field.

Butter Braid delivery:

Thank you to our Graham families and friends for supporting our annual ButterBraid and Wooden Spoon Cookie Dough fundraiser! Arrangements will be made to provide contactless home delivery this Friday, December 4th after 3pm. Stephanie Melone will contact you to confirm details. Any question, please text her at 708-743-3545 or email at stephaniemelone@gmail.com. We raised over $500 and may run an additional sale this spring if there is interest!


Holiday Class Gift:

We are going to do class holiday gifts a little different this year with school 100% remote and no room parents to collect. For Holiday Gifts for Teachers and Staff we will be utilizing a site called GiftCrowd.com. The Graham Holiday Gift page will list all teachers and staff at Graham. If you choose to participate you are able to click on any of your child’s teachers or staff member’s name and leave them a donation and personalized card. When the donation time is over the gift receiver is notified of the gift. They will see all the greetings and messages that were left for them and they can decide what electronic gift card they want the collected amount deposited on. Winter Party:

Our Winter Party will be held on Friday, December 18th via zoom and will be held over the lunch hour similar to the Halloween party. We will have more information about this as it gets closer. If there are any parents interested in helping host the zoom party for their child's class please reach out to Jen Amato at jenniferamato@comcast.net.

Girls Choice:

We will be having our annual Girls Choice event virtually this year. This event will be in late February/Early March. Anyone interested in helping with the planning for this please reach out to Jen Amato at jenniferamato@comcast.net or Tracie Skindzier at tracielange@hotmail.com.
