Author Bethany Hedegus visits Georgetown students.

Reported by Pat_griffin@ipsd.org on 12/6/16

Tomorrow Georgetown School will be hosting author Bethany Hedegus as she shares her journey as a writer with our first, second and third grade students.

There are 11 authors and illustrators in the area at each of the schools from District 203 and 204 as part of the Naperville Reads program. This year's theme is one of diversity… United through stories... What's yours?

There is a free family event on Thursday, December 7th at 7:00 PM at Wentz Concert Hall at 171 E Chicago Avenue on the North Central College campus in downtown Naperville. This is a great opportunity for students to hear the authors speak about their books and their passion for children's literature.
Books will be for sale, and autographing will follow the 7 p.m. event.

There are NO TICKETS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS FREE EVENT.

Hope you will be able to take part in this literacy activity.
