Reported by Kim_Stephens@ipsd.org on 1/10/17

2nd Quarter Music Focus

The whole school learned a song entitled “Thank You Soldiers” and they performed it at a Veterans Days Assembly in November. In December, Peter Tchaikovsky was our Composer of the Month. We listened and watched parts of “The Nutcracker” ballet and discovered that music and dance can tell a story without any words.
Many of the music classes are also earning their Talent Days and Game Days for wonderful participation and respectful behavior in class. Everyone is enjoying the many talents of the Builta Badgers, while listening with great audience etiquette.
