5th Grade Band/Orchestra/Chorus Night at Granger (1/25)

Reported by adrienne_morgan@ipsd.org on 1/11/17

A message from the Music Faculty at Granger Middle School:

Dear 5th grade parents,

We are currently finishing up “Prelude,” a program designed to teach your child about the instruments found in the band and orchestra. We had a great time getting to know your child and visiting them and Young, Brooks and Longwood. It is our hope that they had fun learning about and attempting to play the instruments.

This is just a reminder but if your child is interested in taking Band, Orchestra, or Choir in middle school we will be holding parent registration night at Granger Middle School on Wednesday, January 25th from 4:00pm till 8:00pm that must be attended. This should take about 10 minutes and you will receive info about what supplies will be needed next year. We need to confirm your child’s interest to make sure they get the correct class next year.

We will also be able to answer questions you might have about the selection of an instrument, middle school music classes and what to expect in the future.

Please go to www.preludegranger.weebly.com for more info about the meeting and visit the why music button.

We look forward to meeting you!

Thank you,
The Granger Music Faculty
