Fry PTA Announcements 3-6-2017

Fry Families United Night is TONIGHT!

Fry Families United Night (FFUN) promises to be a fun filled evening for the entire family. Experience our school and community through a new lens as we celebrate Fry Families United Night on Monday March 6th, from 6-8pm at the Fry Elementary Gym.

Sample yummy teas and delicious food, play unique games, create amazing crafts, test your travel IQ and win cool raffle prizes with goodies from around the world to please everyone in the family.

Prepare to be dazzled by professional performances from local organizations in our stage show. Wrapping up the evening will be the grand finale, a spirited Fry Community Dance performance featuring students, parents, staff and even Mrs. Hillman!

Volunteers needed

We are seeking volunteers to help on the day of the event, please consider signing up for an activity at the link below. There are 2 shifts for each activity in order for the volunteers to have time to enjoy the evening with their family.

All Fry students and their families are invited to participate in the science fair on the evening of Thursday, April 6, 2016, from 6pm to 8pm. In preparation for the fair, each student can develop one project to present, with the help of parents. Students may work individually or in teams of up to four people. Please remember that all science fair work, individually or with teams, will need to be done at home after school hours. The attached registration form and general guidelines should help you get started on this fun and educational process.

There will be an information table at the Fry open house on February 21 to ask any questions you may have. More information (project planning guidelines, faq’s, resources, etc.) can be found under the STEM tab of the PTA section at

We will be looking for volunteer judges to help this night. No science background required! Look for a sign-up genius link in the coming weeks or sign up on the registration form.

All parents are welcome to share your profession or any artifact collections or museums. Please come and showcase them at the Fair. We will have tables set up for your exhibits/displays/demonstrations.
