Volunteers Needed for World Kaleidoscope May 4

Reported by on 4/19/17

World Kaleidoscope is an annual celebration of culture, history, foods and activities from around the world. If you grew up (or have family members in) a country outside the United States, we need your help!

World Kaleidoscope festivities take place during the school day and also at an evening event. We are looking for volunteers to:

· Present a short, 15 minute lesson on their country’s culture/history in the students’ classrooms (during school hours on Thursday, May 4)
· Bring samples of a food from their country during the evening session (6:00 – 8:00 pm on May 4)
· Apply Henna during the evening session (6:00 – 8:00 pm on May 4)

If you would like to volunteer, please visit the PTA page on the Owen site and click on SignUpGenius or contact Allison Bonansinga at 219-765-0473 or
