5th Grade Citizenship Award Winners
Reported by firstname.lastname@example.org on 6/2/17
On Wednesday, May 24th, during our annual Memorial Day Assembly, several 5th graders were recognized for demonstrating great citizenship skills. The entire 5th grade class was given the task of writing an essay to nominate one person who shows the characteristics of being a good citizen at Kendall Elementary School. Many of the students’ essays included similar words to describe these chosen 5th graders, such as hard-worker, dedicated, friendly, honest, responsible, etc. There was a girl and boy chosen from each of the 5th grade classrooms, and two classrooms even had a tie. Congratulations to all of the recipients and we know you will make us proud next year in middle school!
