Curriculum Night September 13

Reported by monika_kelly@ipsd.org on 9/12/17

Curriculum Night is Wednesday, September 13. This purpose of curriculum night is for parents to learn about grade level curriculum for this school year. Teachers will share curriculum information and other things about the classroom. This is not a time for a parent/teacher conference or progress report from the teacher. If you have questions about your child's performance or progress, please contact the teacher at another time. Our doors are open to you and teachers want to devote their full attention to your questions or concerns.

This evening is intended for parents only and we respectfully ask that you make arrangements to attend without children. There will not be daycare or supervision provided for children. Children that are in the LMC or other areas will be asked to return to their parents. Thanks for your help with this. If possible, I highly recommend walking to school for curriculum night, as parking is difficult that night. We look forward to this opportunity to partner with you this year!

There is NOT a whole group session. Curriculum night begins with the first classroom session at 6:30 p.m. Please go directly to your first classroom session at 6:30 p.m.

We will have 2 identical classrooms sessions. Parents do not need to attend both sessions for the same classroom teacher. We offer 2 sessions for families that have more than one student at Steck.

Session 1 6:30-6:55 p.m.

Session 2 7:00-7:25 p.m.

There will be a meeting for parents of ELL students at 7:30 p.m. in room 171.

PTA will be available in the LMC. Please join the Steck PTA! They provide so much for our students.
