Reported by john_kelsey@ipsd.org on 9/20/17

Attention, future Einsteins! You, too, could be the new Mae Jemison (the first African American woman in space)! Mrs. Spring-Epley and Miss Morgan want to meet you! Are you interested in experimenting? Discovering? Doing cool labs? Being in a Science Fair? That’s the idea for this year’s Science Fair STEM Club! Participants will be choosing an interesting topic of their own and designing & performing experiments to investigate what’s going on. 7th and 8th grade participants will then be eligible to compete in the MVHS Science and Technology Fair in January. You could maybe even go on to compete in the Regional fair…or even the State! Woohoo!! Go Hill!!

STEM Club will meet every Tuesday and Wednesday in in Room 109 from September 26-December 15. Permission slips are available in the Front Office or from your science teacher and are due by next Monday, Sept. 25. Hope to see you there!
