204 Parent Stakeholder Training

Dear Parents,

You are a valued member of your child’s school team. If your child requires special education services, the team of people that care for and educate your child at school can begin to grow. It is important that this special team of people establish a culture of collaboration, open communication, understanding, consensus, and respect to ensure the needs of your child are being met at school.

Our 204 Student Services Department has the opportunity to collaborate with the leaders of Key2Ed ( ) to provide training to staff and parents on the Facilitated IEP process. You are invited to join our Student Services team in learning the process as a Stakeholder in your child’s education.

As a parent, two opportunities are available to you that may meet your busy schedule. The first opportunity is a 3-hour IEP Meeting Stakeholder Workshop on November 14th (12pm-3pm @ Crouse Education Center). The second opportunity is a 1-hour Overview of the Facilitated IEP Process on November 14th (6pm-7pm @ Crouse Education Center). The attached flyer will provide more details regarding the training, dates, times, and location. Seats are limited, please R.S.V.P. to so we can ensure we have space to accommodate the group.
