Traffic Flow Reminders
Reported by email@example.com on 1/16/18
Dear Scullen Families,
Winter is in full swing, and these cold, snowy days never fail to have a negative impact on our drop off and pick up lines. In order to maintain the safest environment possible for our students, staff members, and parents, please review the following reminders.
During the morning and afternoon, please pull as far forward as possible. This allows us to fit more cars in the circle drive, thus decreasing the amount of time it will take for drivers to get through the line.
If you wait for your child on Mistflower after school, please know that this is not intended as a pick-up lane, and signs are posted for this purpose. Cars must continue to pull forward into the circle drive.
If you arrive before 3:00 PM, you have the option of waiting for your child in the parking lot. However, all cars must be in a parking space, and you may not use the handicapped spots unless your vehicle has a handicapped sticker.
Watch your speed as you are driving through our circle drive and on Mistflower Lane.
Be courteous to the staff members who are directing traffic. They are there to ensure the safety of our students.
When possible, we will have our School Resource Officer directing traffic at Mistflower and Rolling Ridge. Please understand that she is not with us full time, therefore, there will be days when we do not have a body at that location. Our priority is to maintain student safety closest to the building.
Thank you for helping to keep our kiddos safe!
