Google Expeditions AR
Reported by email@example.com on 1/21/18
I’m writing to inform you about a technology experience after school from 3:10 – 3:40 pm at Scullen this coming Monday, January 22nd. I am terribly sorry for the late notice, but it was just confirmed today. This Monday, Google will be sending a representative to teach our technology students about an exciting new educational tool called Google Expeditions AR. This is an unreleased feature of Expeditions in which teachers and students map the physical classroom and place 3D objects like one of Michelangelo’s statues on the students’ desks so that everyone can examine the statue together at the same time.
Nearly all students currently enrolled in Manufacturing Technology, Tech Revolution, Energy / Environment, Digital Media, Creative Tech, Essential Tech, Robotics, and the Scullen Tech Team will experience this new educational tool during the school day. Google has graciously offered to stay after school to include more students in a session that is scheduled from 3:10 – 3:40 pm. This session can accommodate for 70 students. If your student is interested in participating in this session, transportation will need to be arranged for 3:45pm. Please use this sign-up genius link to RSVP. The first 70 students to sign up will be accepted.
