Jump Rope for Sickle Cell Association (2/12)

Reported by adrienne_morgan@ipsd.org on 1/26/18

Dear Parents:

On Monday, February 12, Young Elementary School is holding a Jump Rope for Sickle Cell Anemia event to raise funds for The Sickle Cell Anemia Association.

The event offers many benefits. First, the money our school raises will help with research and education initiatives for sickle cell anemia. Also, while earning money for a great cause, your child will also be able to earn great prizes while getting fit. Participants will also be recognized for their efforts with a certificate of participation. Since the event is being held during the school day, there is not a need to sign a permission slip for your child to participate.

Family and friends are welcome to support your child’s participation by making contributions. However, WE ASK THAT CHILDREN NOT GO DOOR-TO-DOOR OR ASK STRANGERS FOR DONATIONS. Checks should be made payable to the Nancy Young Elementary.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions about the event please check your selection, detach and return the bottom portion of this letter. If you have any questions please call Mr. Maldonado at 375-3814. Thank you for your support! Below is a schedule of the following times and grades.
