Growth Mindset - Ways to Help Your Child

The Brain Can Grow

Remind your child that his or her intelligence is not fixed. Remind her that when things are difficult, her brain grows if she persists through the challenge. Each time he learns something new, his brain is making new connections. Your child needs to know this is possible!

Chords for Kids

A band concert for children with special needs and their families! Music from SpongeBob Squarepants and Disney— and a special guest appearance by Chipy, the North Central College Mascot! Following the concert, parents will have the opportunity to take their child’s photo posing as a “conductor” for a small music ensemble on the stage.
