OZZIE COUGAR READING CLUB

Double up on your reading incentives!! Look for Ozzie Cougar Reading logs in your child's backpack mail. This eight-week program (1/14/18-3/10/18) is to encourage reading as a foundation for learning. Your child will log their reading time in 2 week increments and turn them in to their teachers. After completing the 8 week reading program, they will earn a free ticket to a Kane County Cougars game with their classmates for this upcoming season. Kindergarten-2nd Grade students will be completing their logs in the classroom.

SIX FLAGS® READ TO SUCCEED SIX HOUR READING CLUB

Keep reading and get a Six Flags ticket in the summer! To participate, students need to read for fun for a total of 6 hours or 360 minutes. You can read books, magazines, newspapers, eBooks or comic books. Reading for homework or a class assignment does NOT count. If you didn't get a Six Flags log before break, just log the time on a separate sheet of paper. Send the logs back to your teacher as soon as your student has read 6 hours. The program ends February 9, 2018. If you have any questions for either programs, please contact Hyeon Tai at taigrrrl@yahoo.com.

5th GRADE FAREWELL PICTURES NEEDED!

Do you have a child in 5th Grade? Then we need their pictures!!! The PTA is creating a slide show for the kids during their “Farewell” day and we want your kid to be in it. We are looking for pictures of your child throughout their time at Cowlishaw, so Kindergarten till now.
