Jump Rope for Heart

Reported by on 2/12/18

On Thursday, February 15th, Welch Elementary School is holding our annual Jump Rope for Heart event to raise funds for the American Heart Association. We are very excited to be supporting the Jump Rope for Heart program to help teach our students the importance of the heart and how to take care of it. The event offers many benefits. The money our school raises will help fund potentially lifesaving research, heart education and programs to help us all live healthier lives. Besides being fun, Jump Rope for Heart teaches your child jump rope skills and the importance of physical activity and community service. Today students will be given an Event Reminder/Parent Volunteer Form, so please be on the lookout for this if you are interested in volunteering at our event.

Please remember to keep all donation envelopes at home until their due date, which is Feb. 16. If you have any questions about the event please contact Mr. Horne at or (630) 375-3708. Below is the schedule for each grade level.

Thank you for your support!
