End of Day Dismissal
Please make sure students know their pick-up arrangements when they come to school each day. Dismissal changes (i.e. calling the office) should only be made in emergency situations. If you are signing your child out early, please do so prior to 3:15. Thank you!
Yearbook Orders – Last Chance!
Yearbook order forms were due last week. If you still need to order a yearbook, please contact the Fry office asap!
March Parent/Teacher Conferences
On March 1st we will hold Parent/Teacher Conferences from 1:00 to 8:00 (students will not be in attendance). Conferences are scheduled by teacher/parent request. Teachers have contacted parents to schedule conferences. If you do not receive a letter or email from your child’s teacher, but feel a conference is needed, please contact them directly to set up a time.
18-19 Kindergarten Information
Please complete and return the attached forms (attn. Fry office) if you have a child who will be attending Kindergarten this fall (age 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2018). Please share these forms with any neighbors who don’t already have a connection to our school. Thanks!
HELP! Part-time Crossing Guard Needed – Tuesday/Thursday afternoons only
We are in need of a Tuesday/Thursday afternoon (3:30-3:50) Crossing Guard, with the option of substituting for additional hours. This is a paid position AND a great way to connect with the school community. Please contact the Fry office for more information about the application process.
Did you know District 204 maintains 4 million square feet of building space and more than 650 acres of property? That makes the district's acreage twice the size of Six Flags and its combined building space larger than the Merchandise Mart. Learn about the challenges of maintaining 35 buildings that span 80 years of construction and then give us your feedback at the next Engage 204 session from 7 to 9 pm on February 26 at Still Middle School, 787 Meadowridge Drive, Aurora. The session topic is "The State of Our Facilities."
Engage 204 is a collaborative process between the community and District 204. Key to the success of this process is the collaboration and discussion between participants. District residents who attend will have the unique opportunity to share ideas and discuss topics in small groups in order to provide feedback to the Board of Education. Findings and recommendations will be presented to the Board of Education in July 2018. All District 204 residents are invited to participate in Engage 204.
RSVP is appreciated, but not required at RSVP. For more information, visit Engage 204.
It's about more than just running. Challenge yourself to be part of something big in 2018. Consider signing up for Team IPEF and running in the 6th Annual Healthy Driven Naperville Half Marathon as a charity partner. Team IPEF offers a unique opportunity to run for a cause and make a difference for your school. Last year 335 runners raised more than $178,000 to help enrich education in all 33 of our District 204 schools.
Runners commit to raise a minimum of $204 for 204 as they train and complete the half marathon or 5K on Sunday, October 21, 2018. All charity runners receive a discount off race registration and get to choose a District 204 school they would like to represent. Visit https://www.ipef204.org/teamipef/ to learn more or sign-up.
