Gregory Middle School’s 5th POWer Saturday, April 7 8am-1pm

POWer is FREE event for ONLY Gregory Girls and the Special Women in their lives to come punch out stress with boxing, relax with mindfulness and hypnosis exercises, meet a therapy dog named Reily, learn how to get rich, discover your unique strengths, learn techniques to prevent neck and back pain, create a “Choose Kindness” flower & journal, work as a team to break out of the classroom in time, and much more.

We kick-off the day with a donated breakfast from McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Meijer, and Dole International and keynote speaker Trisha Prahu. Trisha is a current senior at NVHS and the inventor and CEO of ReThink Technology. After breakfast and the keynote, together students and their guests select 3 workshops of your choice that are led by community leaders and professionals. We wrap up the day with a trade show where you can get more information from our speakers and/or purchase services or retail items from 25 local businesses and entrepreneurs. Students that participate have opportunities to win AMAZING raffle prizes, get pictures in a photo booth and have FUN with friends and family. In a world full of social media, reality tv and the pressures of just being a teenager, it is so important to understand who we are and embrace our own uniqueness and talents. This workshop is a RARE opportunity for girls to spend a morning with the special woman (mom, aunt, neighbor, etc.) having fun and walking away ready to take on the world as a WOMAN.
