Principal's Weekly Message - April 2, 2018
Reported by email@example.com on 4/2/18
Hello Spring Brook Parents,
It's report card time! Third quarter report cards are available online on Friday, April 6 at 4:00 p.m. This is a great time to review your child's progress, celebrate successes and talk about goals for the future.
District 204 provides elementary report cards through eSchoolPlus Home Access Center. Beginning April 6 at 4:00 p.m., you may view your child's elementary school report card by clicking here. If you need assistance with logging in or access to the system, please call the main office. This is the same method that was used last year for report cards. I have attached report card grading information. This is also available through Home Access Center.
Parents have the ability to print a report card directly from the Home Access Center. In the upper right corner of the Report Card screen is a PRINT button. This will allow the parents to print an exact copy of the report card that is created in the office. Please visit this link for Directions.
Throughout the year, Spring Brook teachers continuously communicate with students and parents about progress and growth. District 204 Elementary School report cards will include teacher comments during second quarter only. As always, our doors are open to you. Please contact your child's teacher with any questions or concerns at report card time and throughout the school year.

Dear Spring Brook families, It's time to celebrate our diversity together!
All Spring Brook students and their families are invited to share about their heritage or country (any) they would like to represent by one or more of the following ways:
1. Hosting a table: You/your group can prepare a poster/tri-fold with details of map, flag, currency, music, language etc. for the country (it can be any country- not necessarily where you may be from) you plan to represent. Kids/parents have an option to dress up in traditional clothes also. You can also share small art project related to the country you decide to represent.
2. Perform: Perform a traditional dance, play instruments, martial arts routine or you can teach a dance too! Performance can be a solo or in a group.
3. Bring your favorite food/beverage to share: Food/ beverages that can stay at room temperature. (No peanuts please!)
Please read the attached flyer and registration form for more detailed information. Copies of those will go in the backpack mail by end of this week. Volunteer Sign up is coming soon!
