Dear Brooks Families,
A HUGE thank you goes to Mrs. Bridget Palmer for organizing BINGO NIGHT. What a great way for our community to come together and have some fun!
Important Safety Reminder
Staff supervision for student arrival begins at 8:50 a.m. (9:00 on Wednesdays). Thank you for not dropping your children off early. If your student is a walker, please plan their home departure time accordingly. For the safety of our students, we do not want them arriving prior to our scheduled supervision. Thank you for your understanding!
Bookmobile will be back!
We are excited to announce the Aurora Public Library will return this summer, providing book check out for our students throughout the summer. Because of our wonderful turnout last summer, the Bookmobile has extended its time from 30 to 45 minutes! The Bookmobile will park in the front lot of Brooks School every Tuesday from 1:45-2:30 starting June 5-August 7. The Bookmobile will also offer their summer reading program. Stay tuned for further details, but mark your calendars!!
Chromebook Roll Out - coming in August!
We are proud and excited to announce the district’s continued roll out of one-to-one technology for our students in grades 2-5 for next school year. This year, our 5th grade teachers and students have piloted the use of this tool and have embedded it into our instruction in meaningful and exciting ways. Brooks is providing staff professional development this spring so our teachers/students are ready to hit the ground running in the fall. This initiative will also make our current laptops more available for our students in grades K-1, making it a WIN WIN for all! More information to come!

Information regarding registration will be available after April.
If you have any neighbors who do not presently have school-aged children, but will have an incoming kindergartner, please give them a copy of this form or ask them to call our office at 630-375-3200 so that we can send them this information.
