Earth Day

2018 Earth Day is on Sunday, April 22nd. Georgetown will be celebrating Earth Day on Friday, April 20th by wearing green shirts, earth day shirts or something else that shows Earth Day spirit. The class with the highest percentage of participation will win a Popsicle party.

Science Fair
Tuesday, April 17th
6:30-8:00 p.m.
All Georgetown families are invited to our Science Fair to explore and learn.
Science fair judges needed! We are looking for 1-3 more judges. Please email Jamie Johnson at jamiejgtpta@yahoo.com if you can help out our students .

MOMS at Recess
Come hang-out with your kids and other Georgetown students during recess this week!
Bring your ID, enter the building at Door #1, sign in the office, get a nametag and ENJOY!
Recess times are below:

Kindergarten 1:05-1:20

1st Grade 12:40-12:55

2nd Grade 11:50-12:05

3rd Grade 12:15-12:30

4th Grade 11:25-11:40

5th Grade 11:00-11:15

Parent Diversity Advisory Council (PDAC)
Join in the discussion on Tuesday, April 17th, 7-9:00 pm, at the CEC. The topic of the meeting is Understanding and Addressing Income Advantages: How do students’ parental incomes advantage and disadvantage them in school? Please consider joining us! Multicultural Reading Night
April 19
District 204's annual Multicultural Reading Night takes place 6:30 to 8:30 pm on Thursday, April 19 at Still Middle School. The event includes 11 different reading stations (including English, Spanish, Telugu, Hindi, Tagalog, Urdu, Sign Language, French, and Chinese), a welcome bag, raffle tickets, a free book for every school-aged child that attends, coloring station, and refreshments. The event is sponsored by the Bilingual Parent Advisory Council and the Parent Diversity Advisory Council with the goal of promoting diversity and reading within our community.
