Board Approves Asst. Supt. of Student Services

District 204's Board of Education approved the recommendation to hire Dr. Christina Sepiol as Assistant Superintendent of Student Services. Dr. Sepiol is taking over for Jennifer Law, who accepted a position outside the district.
For the past two years, Dr. Sepiol has served as the Assistant Superintendent of Learning in Community Consolidated School District 181. In her current role, she manages and supervises all special education services, including compliance with state and federal regulatory guidance. Prior to working in District 181, she was an Assistant Director for Southwest Cooperative in Oak Forest. Her experience in education also includes working as a special education teacher and principal of an alternative school. In addition to her career in education, Dr. Sepiol has 17 years experience practicing law, including 10 years at Scariano, Himes and Petrarca, a law firm that represents school districts throughout the state.
Dr. Sepiol said she is honored and excited to be joining District 204. "I am optimistic that my experiences in education will contribute to the strength of the services and systems that will be afforded to students with diverse learning needs. I look forward to meeting with stakeholders to learn more about District 204 and the ways in which I can bring added value to an organization with such an excellent reputation for the learning of all students," Dr. Sepiol said.
Dr. Sepiol earned her Bachelor of Science in Education and Juris Doctor from Loyola University, her master's degree from DePaul University and her doctoral degree from National Louis University.
Her position begins July 1.
