Track Parents & Athletes

This upcoming weekend is the track and field conference meet at Naperville Central High School. Field events will begin at 8:30 AM while running events will begin at 10:00 AM. If your athlete is participating in a field event, please have them arrive at 8:00 AM and check in at the Gregory area in the stands. If your athlete is participating in a running event, please have them arrive at 9:30 AM and check in at the Gregory area in the stands. This meet will take up most of the day, so it would be helpful to pack a cooler with extra drinks and food.
As of right now there is also a chance of rain storms in the forecast. In case of weather causing the need for shelter, here are the shelter locations:
• Shelter for track is the overhang on the Patio near door 8 or on team busses.
• Shelter for shot and discus is the pavilion at Knoch Park near field #3.

*Special Note for Shotput and Discus: Like all Naperville Central meets, there will be a shuttle bus to and from the shotput and discus area near Knoch Park. For the conference meet, this shuttle will serve athletes only and will not take parents to the shot put or discus area. If your athlete is in shot put and/or discus and you would like to watch them participate, we would suggest parking around Martin Ave. to avoid the long walk.
