District Seeking Internship Opportunities
Reported by email@example.com on 5/30/18
The Internship Program in District 204 is a personalized pathway of authentic career experience in collaboration with local employers and professionals. Through this program, high school seniors have the opportunity to explore and expand career interests.
Local partnerships are needed in the following areas for paid or unpaid learning experiences:
Architecture, Interior Design
Biomedical, Computer, and Software Engineering
Business Management and Marketing
Computer Science, Coding, and IT
Finance and Accounting
Health Sciences, Physical Therapy, Cardiology, Dermatology, Nursing
Web Design, Computer Graphics
Seniors earn one credit for their internship experience outside of school and earn one credit for classroom instruction that pertains to the career focus. The internship instructor will assist with placement and monitor a student’—s progress throughout the year. An average of 15 hours per week is recommended— placements can be combined to create a personalized experience to fit each individual student and their career exploration goals. Students will provide their own transportation.
If your business is interested in partnering for this program, please contact Brian Giovanini for more information at 630-375-3043 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
