If you used CafePrepay last year to manage your child's lunch account online, please remember to take a moment to set up a MealpayPlus account for this year as MealpayPlus is replacing CafePrepay. The MealpayPlus service allows you to put money in your child's account as well as monitor your child's purchases and account balances. At no cost, MealpayPlus allows you to: - Create a free, secure account to manage all of your child's accounts - Monitor the items your child purchases in the cafeteria - Check your child's current account balance - Create settings to receive email notifications when the account reaches a low balance For a small fee (the convenience fee charged by credit card companies), MealpayPlus allows you to make a prepayment to your child's meal account using a check, credit card (MasterCard or Visa), or debit card. Funds deposited through MealpayPlus are usually available within a matter of minutes. This feature eliminates the need to send a check to school or worry about lost or forgotten lunch money. Participation in the online service is voluntary, and parents are welcome to continue to pay for lunches via the standard method of check or cash. If you prefer to make payments or check balances by phone, you can call the MealpayPlus toll-free line at 866-260-6822. To create a new account today, visit www.MealpayPlus.com. Follow the onscreen directions to register your child using his or her student ID number. Your student ID number can be obtained by calling your school.
