Before the PTSA meeting on October 15, 2009 Still Middle School will be serving dinner from 5:45-6:30. From 6:30-7:30, Adam Russo from Edgewood Clinical Services will be talking about how to communicate more effectively with adolescents. He will be touching on: • How parents can have difficult conversations with their kids • Importance of parents understanding what influences their perspectives • What influences a child's perspective • How parents can maintain their beliefs while joining with their child • How to work WITH each other, not against each other There is no cost for dinner or the presentation.
